409 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 190 of 5 November 1998 and Parliamentary Question No. 371 of 1 December 1998, his Department will investigate the delay in the psychological service making contact with a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as promised in these replies; if his Department will set a date for the assessment and indicate the way in which this person can be assisted or placed in full-time employment or training; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department recognises the needs of the person mentioned. It was intended that a member of the psychological service would contact him before the end of last December. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the contact had to be postponed. I understand that an appointment is being offered this week.
