Ceist:161 Ms Coughlan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Donegal will return to official duties in his Department; and where this person will be allocated. [3562/99]

My Department has been advised by the chief medical officer for the Civil Service that for medical reasons the person concerned is unable to resume his normal duties. In view of his medical condition there is extreme difficulty in finding a suitable position for him.
My Department is currently corresponding with the officer concerned.
