Ceist:192 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if work will commence under the seaside resorts scheme on a property (details supplied) in County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3191/99]
Written Answers - Seaside Resorts Scheme.
In my Budget Statement of 2 December 1998 I announced that the seaside resort scheme is being extended from 30 June 1999 to 31 December 1999 in the case of projects where 50 per cent of the construction expenditure is incurred by 30 June 1999. Further details will be set out in the 1999 Finance Bill.
I regret that the Deputy has not supplied sufficient details in relation to the property in question to enable me to advise him as to whether it would qualify under the proposed extension.
