135 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be offered a position for clerical assistant or clerical assistance data entry in view of the fact that he has already passed the qualifying criteria; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Civil Service Commissioners, who are responsible for the holding of these competitions, that it is not expected that the placing of the person concerned will be reached in making assignments.
