I move:
That Dáil Éireann, pursuant to Article 29.5.2 of the Constitution, approves the terms of the Protocol of 8 June 1977 Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts (Protocol I) and the Protocol of 8 June 1977 Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and relating to the Protection of Victims of Non-International Armed Conflicts (Protocol II), copies of which are contained in the Schedule to the Geneva Conventions (Amendment) Act, 1998 (No. 35 of 1998).
