Written Answers. - Light Rail Projects.
The indicative timetable for the overall project was outlined in my reply to Dáil Question No. 64 on 18 February last. I understand from CIE that there has been some delay in appointing consultants to carry out the preliminary studies on the proposed underground section. However, this will not have any significant impact on the timescale set out for the borehole drilling and should enable the preliminary geotechnical studies to be completed by the end of the year.
