Ceist:

195 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the ongoing delay of payment of area aid and related grants to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo who has again clarified his correct area for the purposes of area aid. [7714/99]

It was necessary to issue a map to the person concerned in order to finalise his area aid application. This has now been done. He will be paid the balance of his 1998 cattle headage grant shortly.
