Written Answers. - Tax Allowances.
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that, according to the information available to the inspector of taxes, the taxpayer ceased employment on 3 October 1997. A certificate of tax free allowances was not, therefore, issued to him for the 1998/99 tax year.
The inspector has written to the taxpayer asking him to clarify whether he has recommenced employment.
