Ceist:237 Mr. O'Flynn asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to a proposal by Lisburn District Council in County Antrim to make the fitting of a smoke alarm compulsory in all dwelling houses; and his views on whether this policy should be introduced on a national basis in the interests of fire safety.
