277 Mr. O'Flynn asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his views on the allegations in British newspapers that Gibraltar is a centre for money laundering and drug trafficking; and if this matter has been discussed at EU council meetings. [8829/99]
I would like to inform the Deputy that it would not be inappropriate for me to pass comment on matters pertaining to another jurisdiction without having access to the relevant facts.
I would also like to inform the Deputy that no discussion has taken place in this regard at EU Council meetings.
