Ceist:60 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Defence the expenditure allocated to the Civil Defence for each of the years 1997 and 1998; the amount availed of in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9230/99]
Written Answers. - Departmental Expenditure.
The amount provided for Civil Defence in the Defence Vote for the years 1997 and 1998 was £2.475 million each year. The outturn for the year 1997 was £2.590 million and the provisional outturn for 1998 is £2.575 million.
