223 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will have his application for back to work allowance reconsidered in view of his previous participation in a community employment scheme. [11907/99]

The application of the person concerned to participate in the back to work allowance scheme has been reviewed in the light of periods spent by him on a FÁS community employment scheme. His application has been approved with effect from 15 March 1999 at a weekly rate of £54.85.
