Ceist:268 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science the funding, if any, he will provide in 1999 to enable adequate accommodation to be provided for a remedial class at Inchigeela national school, County Cork. [11957/99]

Architectural planning has been initiated for the provision of additional accommodation at Inchigeela national school. The provision of a library-medical room is included in the project. This room will serve as a multifunctional space and it is open to the school to utilise it for remedial teaching purposes.
It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The question of funding arises only when the project is ready for tender.
