166 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science the assistance, if any, his Department will provide for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 who has been 17 years in a part-time teaching position and is seeking to be made permanent. [12408/99]

My Department is currently making inquiries with the Dublin Institute of Technology about the position of the person is question. When those inquiries have been completed, I will advise the Deputy of the situation.
