A Baptist minister, a Presbyterian minister and a Church of Ireland minister visit Mountjoy prison on a weekly basis and facilities for public worship are provided when required. If a prisoner of any other religion requests a pastoral visit contact is made the religion concerned in order to facilitate this request.
