Ceist:160 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will establish a training course for return-to-work nurses in Tralee General Hospital, County Kerry. [14389/99]
Written Answers. - Back-to-Nursing Course.
The provision of a back-to-nursing course at Tralee General Hospital is a matter for the Southern Health Board. The board has such a course available at Cork University Hospital which is offered to applicants twice a year. According to the board, the low level of inquiries from persons in the Kerry area would not justify the provision of a course in Tralee at present.
