166 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if a health centre (details supplied) in Dublin 12 will be fully refurbished and extended in order to be an acceptable place for the provision of health services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14480/99]
The provision and maintenance of health centres in Dublin is a matter for the Eastern Health Board in the first instance.
The health board has advised me that it is aware of the unsatisfactory accommodation that exists in Cashel Road. The board is reviewing the conditions at the Cashel Road Health Centre with a view to see how it can be upgraded to an acceptable standard.
