Ceist:113 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid 1998 ten and 22 month beef premia. [14490/99]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
The person named submitted a ten month special beef premium application in respect of 55 animals and a 22 month application in respect of 39 animals on 26 November 1998. These applications were selected for field inspection where 53 and 37 animals respectively were confirmed as eligible. Two animals on each application were ineligible on age grounds. Full payment on the eligible animals will issue within ten days.

The person named has received his full entitlements under the 1998 special beef premium scheme.
As he did not submit an area aid application his entitlement is restricted to 15 LU. A milk quota of 8,457 gallons, equivalent to 9.428 LU, is registered against him, thereby restricting his special beef entitlements to 5.57 LU, equivalent to 9.30 premia.
Payment issued in full in respect of the one bull and 8.30 of the ten bullocks.
