240 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress, if any, made in the formation of a project team to advance phase 2B of Mullingar General Hospital; the brief given to this team; the timescale for this team to report; and when work will commence on the fitting out and provision of an additional operating theatre and beds at this hospital. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that I have approved the appointment of a project team for the development of phase 2B of Longford-Westmeath General Hospital, Mullingar. The process of making appointments to the project team is under way.
