Ceist:

242 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the assistance, if any, which will be extended by way of a travel pass to persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who suffer from epilepsy and have to travel to Dublin from Kilkenny for treatment; and if his Department or the South-Eastern Health Board will inform the family of the support they will receive. The provision of services to eligible persons in County Kilkenny in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
