124 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Defence if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 154 of 1 April 1999, the relocation of the flag officer commanding the Naval Service and his staff to the Naval Base in Haulbowline will be completed as directed by him by 1 July 1999; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The relocation of the Naval Service and Air Corps Headquarters to Haulbowline and Casement Aerodrome respectively was a key recommendation of the Price Waterhouse report.

Arrangements are well in hand for the relocation of the flag officer commanding the Naval Service and his staff to the Naval base and this move is expected to take place shortly.
