An application for a refund of tax in respect of the taxpayer was made to the inspector of taxes by letter dated 16 June 1999. The inspector has carried out a review of the taxpayer's income tax liability for 1998-99 and has established that he overpaid £401.30. A cheque for this amount will issue shortly.
