A number of proposals have been received from private concerns in relation to the use of Gormanston Aerodrome for aviation purposes. These proposals concern civil aviation policy generally and as such are initially a matter for consideration by the Minister for Public Enterprise. The question of the utilisation of the aerodrome for commercial or industrial purposes other than for aviation usage has not arisen.
