250 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to the provision of extra facilities at St. Patrick's College, Naas, County Kildare; the full extent and nature of the proposals; the remaining developmental stages, if any, still to be processed; the timescale for its implementation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. While there is an agreement in principle to provide additional accommodation at St. Patrick's College, Naas, details of the extra facilities to be provided have not yet been finally determined. In this context, a response is awaited from the chief executive officer of County Kildare VEC to a revised schedule of extra accommodation and a revised schedule of suggested future use of existing accommodation at the school. These schedules were issued earlier this year. Architectural planning of the proposed project cannot proceed until these matters have been agreed.
At this stage, it is not possible to indicate the likely timeframe for the delivery of this project.
