183 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is still waiting for his boat to be registered in view of the fact that he sent the necessary papers to his Department two years ago. [17678/99]

Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources (Dr. Woods):

My Department has confirmed that it will deal, as a priority, with all outstanding matters relating to the application by the person concerned to register his fishing boat. I will advise the Deputy of the outcome.
