Ceist:275 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Galway did not receive REP scheme payments on his full stock. [17525/99]

This question would seem to relate to the ewe supplementary measure 1998 under which the person named received a payment of £5,610 on 21 December 1998 based on 70 per cent of the quota available to him in 1998, that is, 805 x 70 per cent. There is no further payment due under this measure. Payments in regard to the REP scheme are up to date and the next payment under this scheme falls due early next year.
