A problem arose with the area of commonage claimed by the above named. The applicant submitted maps in this connection and these are currently being processed. This digitising process will be completed as soon as possible and outstanding payments, if any are due, will be made.

Ceist:311 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon will be given a decision on his application submitted five months ago for grant assistance to erect a slatted shed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17695/99]
The person in this has a number of major investment items approved for grant aid under the farm improvement programme which have not been completed to date. Under the terms of the new national scheme for the control of farm pollution, applicants following a farm plan under the farm improvement programme are ineligible for grant aid under the scheme.
