433 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will be examined to ensure that she is in receipt of her full entitlement in relation to her upkeep from the North Eastern Health Board; and if all previous correspondence and requests to his Department for special financial assistance will be examined. As the Deputy is aware my Department had requested the North-Eastern Health Board to examine the issues raised in this case and, as outlined in my letter of 30 July to the Deputy, the board has made significant progress in resolving the various issues. I have, however, forwarded the most recent correspondence to the board and requested that they reply directly to the Deputy in relation to any outstanding issues. I have also requested that the board keep me informed of any further developments which may take place.
