Ceist:515 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of staff in his Department allocated to deal with tobacco control issues; and the staff levels of the people concerned. [18092/99]

There are a total of six stall involved in tobacco control issues along with a range of other duties. The staff grades concerned are assistant secretary, partial time; principal officer, partial time; assistant principal officer, one quarter time on tobacco control; higher executive officer, one quarter time on tobacco control; executive officer, one third time on tobacco control; and clerical officer, one half time on tobacco control.
