Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position on the proposed Dublin Port tunnel; if the inspector's report from the public inquiry has been presented to him; if not, when it is expected; the process thereafter; if the inspector's report is open to further consideration by him; and the timetable for final decision. The inspectors' report on the public local inquiry into the Dublin Port tunnel motorway proposal and related toll scheme is now with my Department. The report must be processed via the Department's legal section prior to submission to me, as Minister. The file will be submitted to me shortly and I can assure the Deputy that I will determine the issues involved in this case as quickly as possible.
