741 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if an application for land registry will be expedited for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in view of the fact that there is family agreement on the application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17345/99]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application was lodged on 31 May 1999 and refers to a cessor of limited ownership. I am further informed that the documents in this case were sent back with queries to the lodging solicitor on 26 July 1999 and that to date the application has not been relodged. The queries raised must be satisfactorily discharged before the matter can proceed. Accordingly, it is not possible at this time to estimate a completion date. However, I can assure the Deputy that the Land Registry will do everything possible to expedite the matter without undue delay when it is relodged.
