799 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education and Science the plans, if any, he has to ensure that children graduating from St. Oliver Plunkett's national school, having attended the special learning difficulty unit, are able to avail of a follow up service at Malahide community school. 844 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will report on the application from Malahide community school for a resource teacher; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17604/99]

864 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will provide an additional resource teacher for students with learning difficulties at Malahide community school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17786/99]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 799, 844 and 864 together.

I am pleased to inform the Deputies that my Department has sanctioned a temporary resource post to Malahide community school for the 1999-2000 school year to cater for special needs pupils attending the school, including those transferring from the ACLD unit at St. Oliver Plunkett's national school.
