900 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve the authorisation of the placing of a contract for the required extension to St. Mary's College, Naas, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18021/99]

The stage 6 tender report was received in my Department on 17 September 1999 and is currently being examined by my Department's technical staff.
