113 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children the level of funding his Department will make available for the new Educational Childcare Centre, An Cosán, Tallaght; the demand for child care places at this centre and the urgency for a decision to be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I met representatives of An Cosán in June 1999 to discuss their funding requirements for the child care centre element of the project and was impressed with the service which An Cosán provides.
I regret that I do not have any funding available to me in 1999 to support this project. I will consider their request for funding again in 2000 in the light of resources available to me at that time.
