Written Answers - Housing Aid Scheme.
As the Deputy may be aware, the housing aid scheme is administered by the health boards on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Local Government. I have made inquiries of the Western Health Board concerning the individual case raised by the Deputy and I have been informed that an application received by the board on 3 June 1999 is under assessment. As soon as a decision is reached on the application, the individual concerned will be notified immediately.
