Vol. 508 No. 3

Written Answers - Personal Assistance Service.

Brian O'Shea

Ceist:

211 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the financial assistance, if any, available for a disabled person (details supplied) in County Waterford in the matter of the provision of a personal assistant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18626/99]

The provision of services, including personal assistance services, in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, South-Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
