Written Answers - Health Board Members' Expenses.
I have made inquiries concerning the matter referred to in the Deputy's letter with Beaumont Hospital. The hospital has informed me that it was the practice in St. Laurence's Hospital to pay expenses to board members who attended meetings on a monthly basis. However, the hospital has also informed me that all records relating to such payments have since been destroyed so it is not possible to verify what payments may or may not have been made to the person named during the period in question.
