Written Answers - Architectural Heritage.
The Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1999 (No. 17 of 1999), which will be brought into operation on 1 January 2000, contains extensive new provisions for the protection of the architectural heritage. This Act has been consolidated with the other planning Acts in the Planning and Development Bill, 1999. It is not proposed to bring forward any additional proposals at this time.
