328 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she will provide funding towards the projected cost of a pedestrian bridge over the Royal Canal at Scannell Bridge, Harbour Street, Mullingar, County Westmeath. [19085/99]

I have agreed to make a significant contribution to Westmeath County Council towards the cost of funding the construction of a permanent pedestrian bridge over the Royal Canal at Scanlan's Bridge, Mullingar.
