332 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the application of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 for a visitor's visa will be re-examined; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18955/99]
Having reviewed the application in question, my Department is not in a position to issue a visa in this case. The application was refused because my Department was not satisfied, on the basis of the documents supplied, that the applicant's visit would be genuinely short-term in nature.
