Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Finucane – the need for the planning section of the Department of Education and Science to submit revised proposals to Limerick County Council in relation to Gaelscoil Ó Doghaill, Caislean Nua Thiar, Contae Luimnigh; (2) Deputy O. Mitchell – the need to introduce legislation which would enable national infrastructure projects, with full planning permission, to proceed while court challenges dealing with compensation issues are dealt with; (3) Deputy Crawford – the need to compensate pig farmers in the Border region for the financial losses arising from the fire in 1998 at the pig processing plant in Ballymoney, County Antrim; (4) Deputy McGinley – dúnadh monarcha Dia-Norm ar Estáit Thionscail Ghorth Dóbhair agus cailliúint 87 post; (5) Deputy Deenihan – the need to allow for the export of live cattle from Fenit port in County Kerry.

The matters raised by Deputies Crawford, O. Mitchell, McGinley and Finucane have been selected for discussion.
