Ceist:

115 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if the Revenue Commissioners will furnish a clearance certificate in relation to the income tax for the pre-death and post-death period in respect of the estate of a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if a capital gains tax clearance certificate will issue on his estate. Minister for Finance (Mr. McCreevy):

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that all outstanding liabilities, including pre-death and post-death income tax liabilities and capital gains, tax liabilities in this case, have been settled. The solicitors for the estate have been informed of the details of the settlement by letter from the inspector dated 9 November 1999.
