Written Answers. - Port Development.
The proposal was put to public consultation on 1 October 1999 and in excess of 400 observations, including objections, were received by my Department. In accordance with normal practice these were copied to Dublin Port Company for the company's observations. When these are received I will consider the observations made, the port company's views on them and the analysis of my departmental experts before making a decision on the matter.
