212 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if his Department, through the Land Commission, has any land in its possession for division among farmers; if so, the number of acres on a county by county basis; when this land will be distributed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25256/99]
All lands held by the former Land Commission transferred to me, as Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, on 31 March 1999. According to my Department's records the lands described in the following list are still on hands. My Department is committed to disposing of all these lands as quickly as existing resources permit. However, it is not possible to give a completion date for this work.
