Ceist:292 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans, if any, he has to introduce a new plan for the development of men's health services; and, if so, when this plan will be ready for implementation. [25279/99]

Health services are not generally organised on a gender specific basis and I have no immediate plan to introduce a plan for men's health services as suggested by the Deputy. However, officials from my Department will shortly commence discussions with the health boards on their service plans for next year and any specific issues in relation to men's health may be examined in that context.
