Ceist:301 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Health and Children the position in relation to an Alzheimer's unit (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25344/99]
Written Answers. - Alzheimer's Disease.
Among a wide range of potential capital projects outlined to my Department at the end of September 1999 by the North-Western Health Board were six dementia or Alzheimer's units, one of which, I understand, is intended for Cardonagh, County Donegal.
Progress on all of these projects will depend on available capital resources and the priorities of the North-Western Health Board. I can give no indication at present in relation to the Carndonagh project.
