113 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance if the consulting engineers examining the flooding problems at Hazelhatch, Celbridge, County Kildare, have reported to him; their recommendations in relation to alleviation measures; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25769/99]
The consulting engineers examining the flooding problems at Hazelhatch, Cebridge, County Kildare, have submitted an interim report in which options for alleviating some of the flooding problems have been identified. However, this report does not meet the requirements for the feasibility stage of a flood relief scheme to deal with the problems. Additional information is required and the Commissioners of Public Works are currently in communication with the local authority on the matter.
