45 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the communications, if any, she has had with the IDA on possible concerns on the future supply of electricity for new industry; if so, if she will give details in this regard; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [25131/99]

While I am aware from press reports that the IDA has commented in public about the matter, I have had no communication with it with reference to possible concerns relating to the future supply of electricity for new industry. I refer the Deputy to my previous replies regarding electricity capacity in general.
