Ceist:39 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children if a review has been carried out in relation to patient ambulance transport in west Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26693/99]

The provision of ambulance services in this instance is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to look into this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
