Ceist:

280 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo did not receive premium on 15 ewes in view of the fact his land is classified as rough grazing. [1505/00]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh):

The area aid application which has been fully processed with no outstanding errors indicates that as the lands declared by the person named are classified as lowland grazings he would not be entitled to payment on his mountain breeding ewes.
